Aerial Yoga in St. Michaels

October 16, 2017

Aerial yoga uses the support of an aerial hammock. The hammock allows you to gently deepen into stretches, to maintain proper alignment naturally and to reap the benefits of inversions without strain on the joints of the body. Aerial yoga uses a soft nylon fabric hammock sized to each student and suspended a few feet off the ground. It is used as a prop to access alignment, relax tight muscles and ease stiff joints. Aerial yoga is accessible to everyone and fun. There are several classes available at The Studio for several skill levels and needs. Contact Paulette Florio at 410-924-2443 to reserve a hammock.
